Net profit of Neko Insurance increased by 35.52%

Kathmandu February 16- Private sector general insurance company Neko Insurance's net profit has increased by 57.14% to Rs. 33.4 million in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 21 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.
Neko insurance's income has increased in compare with last year's corresponding period by 54.05% to Rs. 57.4 million and its expenses has also increased by 50% to Rs. 24 million. During the period company has increased insurance premium to Rs. 176.8 million which was Rs. 120.9 million last year. Company has paid Rs. 36.6 million claim amount during the period which was Rs. 56.8 million in last year. Company has issued 46 thousand 201 insurance policies and has compensated to 1139 claims.
Company has EPS of Rs. 11.85, P/E ratio of 74.26 and net worth per share of Rs. 188.21.
