Net profit of NMB Bank increased by 55%

Kathmandu February 15- Operating with the paid up capital of Rs. 4 billion 154.5 million, net profit of NMB Bank increased by 55.67% to Rs. 421.2 million in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 270.5 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.
Deposit of the bank has increased by 79.31% to Rs. 52 billion 488.3 million while bank has invested 42 billion 764.5 million in loan and advance. Net interest income of the bank has increased by 48.55% to Rs. 765.2 million and operating profit of the bank has also increased by 18.93% to Rs. 468 million. Bank has maintained balance of Rs. 169.7 million in its provision and has been able to recover Rs. 172.4 million bad debts.
Bank has bad debts of 1.67% and risky asset of 12.24%. EPS of the bank is Rs. 20.28, P/E ratio of 22.69 times, liquidity ratio of 28.47% and net worth per share is 149.03.
