Net profit of Century Commercial bank increased by 61%

Kathmandu February 12- Operating with Rs. 2 billion 120 million paid up capital, net profit of Century Commercial Bank has decreased by 61.16 % to Rs 160.7 million in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 99.8 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.
Deposit of the bank has increased by 2.96% to Rs. 24 billion 77.1 million. Bank's loan and advance has increased by 5.40 % to Rs. 20 billion 843.9 million. Similarly, net interest income of the bank has increased by 22.71 % to Rs. 389.5 million and operating profit has increased by 82.81 % to Rs. 234.1 million. Bank has balance of Rs. 50 million in its provision and has recovered Rs. 16.7 million bad debt.
Bank has bad debt of 0.66 % and risky asset of 11.34 %. EPS of the bank is Rs 15.17, P/E ratio is 21.96 times, net worth per share is Rs. 121.42 and liquidity ratio of 23.35%.
