Metro development bank earns Rs. 26.3 million in the second quarter of the year

Kathmandu February 11- Metro development bank has earned Rs. 26.3 million net profit, a 29.81% growth than the previous corresponding period in the second quarter of the current FY which was Rs. 20.3 million.

Bank has paid up capital of Rs. 250 million and Rs. 50 million reserve funds. Deposit of the bank has increased by 19.67% to Rs. 2 billion 176.7 million and has lend loan and advance of Rs. 1 billion 839.6 million which is a 21.61% growth. Bank has earned net interest income of Rs. 53.2 million and operating profit of Rs. 41.4 million. Bank has balance of Rs. 1.6 million in provision.

Risky asset of the bank is of 15.02% and bad debt of 0.09%. Similarly, EPS of the bank is Rs. 21.01, P/E ratio 15.28 times, liquidity ratio of 23.87% and net worth per share Rs. 121.47.
