Net profit of Unilever declined by 29%

Kathmandu February 9- Net profit of Unilever Nepal Limited has declined by 28.83% to Rs. 148.6 million in the second quarter of current FY which was Rs. 208.8 million last year.

Unilever is functioning with the paid up capital of Rs. 92.1 million and has balance of Rs. 1 billion 77.9 million in its reserve fund. Company's income has decreased by 50.85% to Rs. 663 million which was Rs. 1 billion 349 million last year. Similarly, total expenses of the company has decreased by 55.89% to Rs. 452.2 million from Rs. 1 billion 25.3 million of last year.

Company has increased its investment by 44% to Rs. 1 billion 193.6 million. Operating profit of the company has also declined by 34.90% to Rs. 210.7 million which was Rs. 323.7 million. Total current asset has decreased by 28.50% to Rs. 1 billion 216.2 million while its total current liabilities has decreased by 4.54% to Rs. 1 billion 592.6 million.

Unilever has EPS of Rs. 153, net worth per share of Rs. 1271 and liquidity ratio of 0.8%.
