Net profit of Nepal SBI bank boosted by 17%

Kathmandu February 2- Nepal SBI Bank's net profit has been increased by 17.20% to Rs. 623.9 million which was Rs. 532.7 million in the corresponding period of previous FY.

Collection of deposit of the bank has increased by 1.92% to Rs. 58 billion 359.7 million from Rs. 57 billion 258.3 million of last year. Loan and advance of the bank has increased by 7.38% to Rs. 41 billion 818.1 million from Rs. 38 billion 941.9 million of last year. Net interest income of the bank has increased by 17.99% to Rs. 1 billion 141.4 million. Bank's interest income has grown by 1% while its interest expenses have deepened by 16%.

Similarly, operating profit of the bank has increased by 13% to Rs. 927.1 million which was Rs. 820.4 million last year. Bank has recovered Rs. 55.5 million bad debts and has kept 52.1 million in its provision.

EPS of the bank is of Rs. 40.81, P/E ratio is 38.35 times, net worth per share is Rs. 206.45 and Liquidity ratio has rested in 30.17 percent. Bad debt of the bank has decreased by 0.05% to 0.17% while its risky asset has settled at 14.42% increasing by 0.23%.
