Net profit of RSDC microfinance increased by 84%

Kathmandu January 27- Operating with paid up capital of Rs. 60 million; RSDC microfinance ltd has increased its net profit by 84.59% in the second quarter to Rs. 6.6 million which was Rs. 3.5 million in the corresponding period of last fiscal year.
RSDC microfinance has kept Rs. 15.9 million in reserve fund which was Rs. 4.4 million last year. Lending has increased by 56.06% to Rs. 574.4 million from Rs. 368.1 million last year. Net interest income of the microfinance has increased by 44.25% to Rs. 12.6 million which was Rs. 8.7 million last year. Microfinance's interest income and interest expense have increased by 61.37% and 85.99% respectively. Operating profit of the microfinance has increased by 84.59% to Rs. 10.4 million which was Rs. 5.6 million. Similarly, company has kept Rs. 600 thousands in provision.
Risky assets of the microfinance are of 13.50% while its EPS is of Rs. 22.08.
