Net profit of Citizens bank increased by 49%

Kathmandu January 21- Citizens bank has earned Rs. 418.4 million net profit in the second quarter of current fiscal year which was Rs. 279.8 million i.e. 49.53% growth than the corresponding period of previous fiscal year.
Paid up capital of the bank has rested in Rs. 3 billion 65.2 million. Bank has deposit of Rs. 40 billion while it has loan invested Rs. 33 billion 550 million. Bad debt of the bank has increased by 0.42% to 2.43% from 2.01%. Net interest income of the bank has increased by 16.34% to Rs. 716.1 million from Rs. 615.5 million. Bank has kept Rs. 250 million in provision.
Bank has maintained EPS of Rs. 27.31, P/E ratio of Rs. 21.86 times, Net worth per share of Rs. 135.66 and liquidity ratio of 26.10%.
