Narayangadh-Muglin road to remain close for two hours daily

Kathmandu January 18- The Narayangadh-Muglin road section remains closed for two hours every day since the past four days for traffic management for the road widening works.
According to the Chief District Officer in Chitwan, Binod Prakash Singh, the bodies concerned have been directed to carry out the construction task by closing the traffic services for two hours during day time from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm every day after determining time after traffic service was adversely affected while carrying out regular construction task.
The construction task is being carried out only for two hours after holding discussion with local administration as complaints were received regarding traffic obstruction along the day as well as ambulances also faced problems in their movement.Road widening task is on around 36 kilometres stretch of the highway.
Representative of construction company Dharma Raj Dahal said that the road section would be closed after broadcasting notice in local media as well as issuing a public notice. RSS
