Gautam elected Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industries president

Chitwan January 15– Rajan Gautam has been elected as the president of Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI) on Thursday.
Gautam secured 981 votes against his nearest rival Sahan Lal Pradhan, who received 737 votes for the post. Similarly, Raju Shrestha was elected as the senior vice-president whereas Suman Kumar Shrestha, Chun Narayan Shrestha and Bishnu Prasad Kandel were elected as vice-presidents.
Similarly, Nabin Kandel, Bal Krishna Kandel, Shankar Nepal, Siddartha Lal Chuke, Rohit Kumar Shrestha and Prashanta Kumar Piya were elected as members of the industry wing.
Bipendra Ramudamu, Rajendra Oli, Rabindra KC, Baburam Kandel and Muna Gurung were elected as members of the commerce wing.
Similarly, Dasi Ram Dhakal, Lok Bahadur Ranabhat, Balram Bhandari and Thir Prasad Dhital were elected as members under commodity category.
Earlier, two candidates for corporate — one woman and a regional member — were elected unanimously. A total of 1,746 voters took part in the polls.
