Financial closure of Dordi-1 concludes

Kathmandu January 15– The financial closure of 10.3 MW Dordi Khola-1 Hydro Project promoted by Dordi Hydropower Co Ltd has been concluded in the lead of Sanima Bank Ltd.
A consortium of banks constituting Sanima Bank, Laxmi Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, Kailash Bikas Bank and Yeti Development Bank will finance 75 per cent of the project cost and the remaining will be arranged by the developer, as per a statement issued on Thursday.
The project will be constructed in Faleni, Bhansar and Dhodheni VDCs of Lamjung district. The required commercial operation date of the project is July 17, 2017 as per power purchase agreement. The project will generate 56Gwh electricity, which is 56 million units of electricity, annually.
