Net profit of Everest insurance increased by 11%

Kathmandu January 11- Private sector general insurance company Everest insurance company has increased its net profit by 11.09% to Rs 1.5 million in the first quarter of current FY which was Rs. 1.3 million in the corresponding period of last FY.
Company has paid up capital of Rs. 101.2 million and reserve fund of Rs. 144.1 million. Income of the company has increased by 10.73% to Rs 3.9 million and expenses have increased by 10.50 % to Rs. 2.3 million. Company earned Rs. 19 million during this period which was Rs. 8.8 million in the past FY. During this period company has paid Rs. 20.3 million claim amount of 205 claims which was Rs. 30.6 million. Company has issued 2 thousands 6 hundred 94 insurance policies during this period.
Company has EPS of Rs. 1.49 and P/E ratio of 623.82 times.
