Co-operative collector robbed of money and documents in Koteshwor

Kathmandu January 5- Two motorcycle-borne persons robbed a cooperative’s money collector of Rs 2,00,000, her mobile and documents from Koteshwar in Kathmandu on Monday, police said.
Ramila Shiwakoti was returning to the office of Bhadrawati Saving and Credit Co-operatives Ltd. after collecting regular saving funds from depositors when the two unidentified robbers grabbed her bag in front of the Kalinchok Party Palace at Dobhan, Koteshwar. The bag contained the money and collection cards besides Shiwakoti’s mobile phone.
The robbers managed to flee the site immediately after the heist, while the victim could not read the motorcycle’s registration number also.
Police said they are looking into the robbery and trying to get hold of the suspects.
