Global IME celebrates ninth anniversary

KathmanduJanuary 4- Global IME Bank Ltd (GIBL) celebrated its ninth anniversary on Saturday.
To mark the occasion, the bank organised various programmes. GIBL organised a ‘Walkathon’ with the slogan ‘Bachat Garau’ where nearly 650 employees from the bank’s branches within the Valley participated.
The walkathon started from GIBL’s Kantipath branch and went through Durbarmarg, Ratnapark, Sahidgate, Sundhara, New Road, Bir Hospital, Jamal and ended at the Kantipath branch.
The bank also organised a blood donation and free diabetes check-up camp on January 1, at its Kantipath branch.
GIBL has a paid-up capital of Rs 6.16 billion and its deposits stand at Rs 63 billion and loans at Rs 53 billion.
It has been serving more than five lakh customers through 89 branches, six extension counters, 10 revenue collection counters, 94 ATM outlets and 39 branchless banking services.
