Global student entrepreneurship award application open
Kathmandu December 30– Entrepreneurs’ Organisation Nepal Chapter, in partnership with Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs’ Forum (NYEF), has announced applications open for Global Student Entrepreneurship Award (GSEA) Nepal.
GSEA is a premier awards programme for student entrepreneurs, as per a statement. Over the years, participating students have gone on to create thousands of jobs and generate millions in revenue.
The Nepal finals of GSEA is being organised on February 29 in Kathmandu. The application deadline for Nepal Finals is February 1.
Eligible students must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a recognised college or university. Students need to be primarily responsible for the operation of a for-profit business that has been operating for no less than six consecutive months.
Upon review of the applications, selected students will get once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present their business and entrepreneurial journey in front of a panel of entrepreneur judges.
The winner of this competition will receive Rs 50,000 in cash prize and will attend the GSEA Finals to compete with the world’s top student entrepreneurs and have a chance to win over $40,000 in cash and donated business services.
