Everest Bank signs agreement with Nepal Clearing house for interbank payment system
Kathmandu December 30- Everest Bank signed Agreement with Nepal Clearing House Ltd for InterBank Payment System (IPS). Amid a program held at bank’s head office, the agreement was signed by Mr. AK Ahluwalia, Chief Executive Officer of Everest Bank and Mr. Neelesh Man Singh Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Clearing House Ltd.
With this agreement, EBL Customers now have privilege for interbank payment & fund transfer. At the function CEO, Everest Bank Ltd. stated that this facility would not only reduce the service delivery time but also encourage its customers to use alternate channels.
Presently the Bank is rendering professionalized & efficient banking services through its widest domestic network of 61 branches, 5 Extension Counters, 24 Revenue Collection Counters, 83 ATMs and many correspondents across the globe. The Bank was conferred as “Best Managed Commercial Bank” by Asian Paint New Biz in 2013 as well as the “Highest Tax Payer among Commercial Banks” for FY 2068/69.
