Net profit of Sagarmatha Insurance decreased by 66%

Kathmandu December 24- Private sector general insurance company Sagarmatha insurance has published its first quarter report of FY 2072/73. According to the report, net profit of the company has decreased by 66.62% to Rs. 10 million 491 thousands from Rs. 31 million 433 thousands of the corresponding period of last FY.

With the paid up capital of Rs. 350 million, company has maintained Rs. 201.4 million in reserve fund. Company has earned Rs. 115.4 million insurance premium during the period which is 12.01% decrease than the last FY. Company has paid Rs. 158.4 million claim amount during the period which was Rs. 38 million during the last FY.

Company has issued 10 thousand 8 hundred 55 insurance policies which is 1 thousand 338 less than previous FY. Company has paid claims of 1 thousand 403 policies in this period.

EPS of the company is Rs. 2.94, net worth per share is Rs. 233.19, liquidity ratio is 1.30 times and P/E ratio is 294.66.
