5 Morcha cadres arrested for attempting to show black flag to PM

Kathmandu December 21- The police have arrested five cadres of the agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha for trying to show black flags to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at Duhabi in Sunsari on Monday.

The Morcha cadres, who were carrying black flags and enforcing banda, were arrested near Sunrise Bank. The police informed that the protesters also clash with the security personnel during the arrest.

PM Oli arrived at Itahari in Sunsari at 12 pm to inaugurate the CPN-UML district council.
Morcha cadres Mahesh Yadav, Bhupen Yadav, Khelan Yadav, Pushpa Yadav and Ranjit Goswami were arrested. Meanwhile, SN Meheta, Rameshwor Mandal, Muna Sah and Awadanarayan Yadav received injuries during the clash with police. Source:TKP
