CIAA confiscated Dabur Nepal products being exported to India

Kathmandu Dec 13- The Commission for the Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has confiscated 77 cargo containers containing products of Dabur Nepal that was being exported to India from Sirsiya Dry Port in Birgunj on Sunday.

A team of CIAA officials from centre have confiscated the containers and have started an investigation.

Commission DSP Himalaya Shrestha informed that the CIAA is inspecting the quality and expiry dates of the Dabur products after receiving a tip regarding the same.

Meanwhile, another CIAA team has reached at Bara-based Dabur Nepal factory in Tokani, Rampur.

Costums chief Devi Prasad Bhandari said that 77 out of 90 containers with Dabur Nepal products have reached the port. Source: TKP
