Kathmandu Valley Developing Authority approves 223 housing plans
Kathmandu December 11- The Kathmandu Valley Development Authority (KVDA) has given permission to 223 housing plans including land pooling and development of joint and group residential properties for the development of systematic housing in the Kathmandu Valley.
KVDA has given permission to altogether 145 plans including 37 land pooling plans, 75 joint residence and 33 group residence plans in the Kathmandu district of the Valley. Likewise, it has given permission to altogether 11 plans including eight land pooling, one joint residence and two group residence development plans in Bhaktapur district, and 67 plans including 11 land pooling, 29 joint housing and 27 group housing development plans in Lalitpur district of the Valley, Spokesperson at the KVDA Keshav Prasad Neupane said.
The Authority has stated that the concerned property developers can start the construction works after acquiring permission from it and getting the building plan and the land map approval from the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction and the local bodies concerned, respectively.
