India violated international rule by imposing border blockade, argues CP Gajurel
Kathmandu December 9- CPN-Revolutionary (Maoist) leader CP Gajurel has argued that India has violated the international rule by imposing border blockade on Nepal for more than two months.
Speaking at a press conference organized by the Revolutionary Journalists Federation, Udayapur Chapter here today, leader Gajurel further asserted, “The India-imposed border blockade on Nepal is inhumane. The act has been isolating India from the international community.”
Stating that this very act of northern neighbor towards Nepal unveiled its true colors at the international arena, Gajurel indicated the chances of international community to bring India to book for imposing economic embargo on Nepal provided the issue is internationalized and presented at the United Nations.
On a different note, he expressed his confidence that India would never consider the demands put forth by the agitating Madhesi leaders who were recently in Indian capital city, New Delhi, to seek India’s positive intervention towards their agitation.
Leader Gajurel urged the disgruntled Madheshi leaders to seek solutions in home ground and drew the attention of both the government and them to be serious towards maintaining social cohesion and communal amity as the agitation in southern plains continues. RSS
