Gold price marginally down while silver stands stable

Kathmandu November 29- Gold price dipped by a marginal Rs 100 pertola to Rs 48,400, while silver remained stable at Rs 675 atola over the week, from November 22 to 27.

The market opened on Sunday with gold price fixed at Rs 48,500 pertola. Price of the precious yellow metal tumbled by Rs 300 pertola on Monday to be traded at Rs 48,200 atola.

However, the price of gold edged up by a marginal Rs 100 pertola on Tuesday and was fixed at Rs 48,300 atola. On Wednesday, bullion price again increased by Rs 250 atola and was traded at Rs 48,550 pertola. Price of gold dropped by Rs 150 pertola to Rs 48,400 pertola on Thursday and remained unchanged on Friday.

Meanwhile, price of silver remained stable.

The market opened on Sunday with silver price fixed at Rs 675 pertola. Price of the white metal dropped by five rupees atola on Monday to be fixed at Rs 670 pertola and remained unchanged on Tuesday.

Recovering the earlier loss, silver price edged up by five rupees pertola on Wednesday to be fixed at Rs 675 pertola and remained unchanged till Friday — the last trading day of the week.
