Clash erupts between UDMF cadres, student unions in Itahari

Bhojpur November 27- A clash erupted after local people and Student Unions vandalized and torched the stage constructed by United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) at Kheti Stream of Itahari in Sunsari district on Friday.

The local people and the student unions had vandalised the stage from where the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal,chairman, Upendra Yadav and other big leaders of UDMF were going to address their speech.

After the incident, the organisers are in dilemma whether to hold the programme. The police, viewing the situation in Itahari, had said that they could provide security only West of Itahari chowk. Meanwhile, Morcha programme organisers have said that the act of vandalism has stripped them of their Freedom of Expression.
