Barun hydro occurred loss in first quarter

Kathmandu November 25- With the paid up capital of Rs. 243 million, Barun Hydropower Company has occurred loss of Rs. 9.7 million in the first quarter of current fiscal year. In the corresponding period of last FY, profit of Rs. 15.4 million was earned by Barun Hydro.

Company has invested Rs. 800 thousand in this period of time which was the same amount during the corresponding period of last FY. Operating profit also decreased by 88.24% to Rs. 3.4 million than the corresponding period of last FY which was Rs. 29.5 million.

EPS of the share is Rs. 89.01, liquidity ratio is 0.88 times and net asset per share is Rs. 211.73. In the last transaction, the market price of the share rested in Rs. 304.
