Prabhu Bank earned Rs. 260 million net profit in first quarter

Kathmandu November 19- Prabhu Bank succeeded to earn Rs. 261.7 million net profit in the first quarter of current FY. In the corresponding quarter of last FY Prabhu Bank occurred loss of Rs. 116.8 million.
Deposit of bank has increased by 44.16% to Rs. 45 billion 667.8 million which was Rs. 31 billion 676.4 million last year. Lending of the bank has also increased by 25.25% to Rs. 30 billion 34.9 million which was Rs. 23 billion 978.5 million last year. Similarly, net interest income has increased by 39.54% to Rs. 344.8 million. Operating profit of the bank amounted to Rs. 159 million.
According to the first quarter financial report, EPS of the bank is Rs. 32.01, P/E ratio is 12.96 times, net worth per share is Rs. 121.98 and liquidity ratio is 41.72%. In the first quarter of current fiscal year, bad debt has decreased by 9.94% to 5.71%. Similarly, Risky assets have increased by 0.39% to 10.66%.
