Cumulative profit of banks is 18%

Kathmandu November 19- On the basis of financial report of first quarter of current fiscal year published by 20 commercial banks, cumulative profit of 20 commercial banks is 18%. Sanima Bank prepared a report based on the first quarter financial report of 20 commercial banks among 30 commercial banks that are in operation.

20 commercial banks have earned Rs. 4 billion 770 million net profit which was Rs. 4 billion 40 million in the corresponding quarter of last FY which shows ignorable affect of April 25 devastating earthquake continued by Tarai unrest and unofficial blockade by India in banking business of Nepal.
