Japan concerned about shortage of essentials

Kathmandu November 18- The embassy of Japan has expressed deep concern on the increasingly impact on the daily lives of the people due to the shortage of essential materials, especially fuel and petroleum products in Nepal.
A statement issued by the embassy states the fuel shortage is also preventing post-earthquake relief community including the international organizations and NGOs from effectively conducting their humanitarian activities towards the affected areas.
We sincerely hope that the current difficult situation in Nepal to be resolved peacefully and in a way to foster cooperation, as well as mutual trust and understanding among all the parties concerned, it further reads.
The statement reads it will continue to actively support Nepal’s reconstruction efforts to “Build Back Better” from the earthquake disaster. Source: TKP
