Net profit of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd increases by 17.89%

Kathmandu November 17- Net profit of Nepal SBI Bank has increased by 17.89% to Rs.  302 million in the first quarter of current fiscal year which was Rs. 256.2 million in the corresponding quarter of last FY.

Collection of deposit has increased by 2.02 % to Rs. 53 billion 953.5 million from Rs 55  billion 66.6 million last FY. Loan investment has increased by 7.10% to Rs. 39 billion 854 million from Rs. 37 billion 211.1 million last FY. In the first quarter of current fiscal year, net interest income has increased by 20.98% to Rs. 566.9 million.

Similarly, operating profit has increased by 14% to Rs. 442.6 million from Rs 388.2 million last year. Provision of Rs. 23.2 million has kept in the balance and bad debt of Rs. 34.7 million has been recovered due to which net profit has been boosted.

According to the financial report of first quarter, EPS of the bank (annual) is Rs. 39.51, P/E ratio (annual) is 35.43 times and net worth per share is Rs. 195.92.  Liquidity ratio of the bank is of 32.68%. Likewise bad debt of the bank is 0.18% and risky assets stands at 14.33%.
