Profit of Butwal Power decreases by 13%, loss for Sanima Mai Hydropower

Kathmandu November 17- Net profit of Butwal Power Company has decreased by 13.29% in the first quarter of current fiscal year than the corresponding quarter of last FY. It has earned Rs. 53 million net profit in this quarter which was Rs. 61.1 million in the last year.

Reserve of the company has balance of Rs. 1 billion 808.3 million which was Rs. 1 billion 743 million last year. Similarly, investment of Rs. 1 billion 345.2 million is seen in this quarter which was Rs. 1 billion 222 million last year. Operating income of the company has increased by 28.53% to Rs. 187.2 million and operating expenses has increased by 23.56% to Rs. 58.4 million.

EPS of Butwal Power Company stands at 3.17%, P/E ratio is 164 times and net worth per share is Rs. 208.07.

Similarly, Sanima Mai Hydro Company Limited is in loss of Rs. 23.4 million in the first quarter of the current FY. Company was in loss of Rs. 58.8 million in the corresponding period of previous FY. In this period company has income of Rs. 200 thousand which was Rs. 52.1 million last year. EPS of the company is nil and net worth per share is Rs. 94.43.
