Petrol tankers enter through Belahiya point

Lumbini November 9– Some petrol tankers entered Nepal via Belahiya point of Rupandehi, which was brought to a grinding halt for last eight days, on Sunday night.
The Indian side allowed five petrol and three diesel tankers and two liquefied petroleum gas bullets through Belahiya point on Sunday night.
According to Rupandehi Police Chief, Buddhi Raj Gurung, the vehicles laden with other goods and commodities have also entered Nepal via the Belahiya point since this morning.
He said that there is possibility of fuel tankers entering Nepal today as well.
The Indian side has been preventing the tankers and other vehicles from entering Nepal citing security reasons with the protest of the United Democratic Madhesi Front at Nepal-India borders. Source: THT
