Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank ltd earned Rs. 6 million net profits

Kathmandu November 9- With the paid up capital of Rs. 40 million, Swarojgar Laghubitta Bikas Bank earned Rs. 6 million net profit in first quarter of current FY which is 2 times than the profit earned in the same period of last FY.
Deposit of bank has increased by 55.63% to Rs. 217.2 million which was Rs. 139.6 million last FY. Similarly, lending has increased by 52.05% to Rs. 536.3 million from Rs. 352.7 million last year. Net interest income has also increased by 58.43% to Rs. 15 million which was Rs. 9.4 million last year. Operating profit of the bank has increased by 119.74% to Rs. 9.5 million from Rs. 4.3 million. Bank has kept provision of Rs. 700 thousands.
According to the financial statement of the first quarter, EPS of the bank is Rs. 60.93, P/E ratio is 33.16 times, net worth per share is Rs. 180.15 and liquidity ratio is 10.99%.
In the first quarter of the current FY, bad debt has decreased by 0.25% to 0.31%, risky assets have increased by 3.79% to 13.50% and CD ratio is 246.82%.
