NEPSE Update at 1: NEPSE index drops 3 points

Kathmandu November 8- In the first day of week, NEPSE index drops by 3.54 points to transact in 1087.17 points. Sensitive index has dropped by 0.79 points to 234.99 points. It is likely that political turmoil of the economy has extended in capital market also. After the promulgation of constitution, people's expectation has been crushed by the political turmoil caused by agitating Madesh based political parties and government.

On Thursday, last trading day, NEPSE index dropped by 1.62 points to close at 1,090.68 points.

NEPSE index rose by 0.08% in Finance group, 0.02% in Insurance group whereas indices of  Banking group, Hydro group and Other group have decline by 0.5%, 0.18% and 0.61% respectively.
