Revenue of 40.5 million through issuance of Passport from single district

Banke, October 25- District Administration Office (DAO) of Banke has distributed additional 28% i.e. 2,425 passports in last FY than previous FY 2071/72.

According to DAO, six thousands three hundred twenty five passports were distributed in previous FY. DAO has recommended for four thousands four hundred eighty-one passport from Kathmandu.

In the FY 2071/72, DAO distributed 8753 passport through which revenue of 44 million 710 thousands were collected which is 29.23% increment than previous FY.

During the FY 2070/71, 31 million 640 thousands revenue were collected. In recent time, people are issuing passport from district office due to low cost in compare to Kathmandu. Meanwhile, 8866 citizen certificates and 5425 duplicate citizen certificates were distributed from DAO in FY 2071/72.
