Branchless banking of Global IME Bank in Sindhupalchowk

Kathmandu October 19- Global IME bank has started branchless banking in Thumpakhar VDC and Sanopalati VDC of Sindhupalchok District which is mostly affected by April 25devastating earthquake. Global bank started branchless banking in co-operation with Sakhyam Excess to Finance Program from Sunday.
Director Bichari Prasad Pyarkurel of Aatmanirvar saving and cooperative Ltd inaugurated the banking service in Thumpakhar VDC and local social server RamSharan Raut inaugurated the service in Sanopalati VDC. Global bank aims to provide banking service from households of the VDCs so that to remove constraint of long distance banking of local people.
With this, bank has expanded its services with 88 branches, 92 ATMs, 37 branchless banking.
