Government extend one month deadline to pay tax

Kathmandu, October 15- Government has extended one month deadline to pay tax due to the closure of industrial and trading activities as a result of tarai banda and undeclared blockade imposed by India. The ongoing taria movement has negatively affected industries and businesses due to which business enterprises have failed to pay bank loans and tax to the government, thus as per the private sector's demand, government has increase one month time to pay all kind of taxes.
Now tax payers have time limit of November 11 instead of mid- October to clear all kinds of taxes like, VAT, Income tax, excise duty, educational service tax, health service tax, tax clearance in advance and claim in tax discount. Arouse of situation where the taxpaying deadline needed to increase shows that the revenue collection of economy had been suffered very badly according to different economists.
