Pokhara Finance to give 51% dividend to its shareholders

Kathmandu October 7- Pokhara Finance to provide 51% dividend to its shareholders. Pokhara Finance is distributing 48.50% bonus share plus 2.5% cash dividend for tax provision from its profit of the FY 2071/72. NRB has approved of the proposed dividend. According to Chief Executive Officer of Pokhara Finance, proposed dividend shall be distributed to investors once it is approved by 19th AGM of the finance.
Finance collected total of Rs. 2 billion 715 million deposits and lend Rs. 2 billion 303 million in the last FY. After distributing bonus share, paid up capital of finance summed up to Rs. 411 million 119 thousands. Pokhara Finance earned net profit of Rs 156 million 339 thousands in the period. This is the maximum amount of profit earned by a financial institution among development banks and finance companies operating in Pokhara till date.
