22 MW power of Sanima Maikhola to be added to national grid

Kathmandu October – 22MW electricity generated by the Sanima Maikhola Hydropower Project in Ilam has been added to the national grid, which is expected to give much needed relief to the people of the eastern region from load-shedding. On Thursday the power generated by maikhola project was connected to transmission line but could not be synchronize but the process will be resume after solving technical difficulty, said Mr. Kanhaiya Kumar Manandhar, deputy director of transmission division in Nepal Electricity Authority.
