118 Houses handover in Sindhupalchok by Chaudhary Group

Kathmandu, September 27. Mr. Binod Choudhary, President of Chaudhari Group handoverd one hundred and eighteen transitional homes to earthquake victims of April 15 in a program organized in Bhimtar, Sindhupalchok on Saturday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chaudhary Group is implementing the commitment they had made to build ten thousands transitional home for earthquake victims.

Among 10,000 homes, Chaudhary Group is building 1000 homes themselves and 9000 homes in coordination with other donors. Chaudhary Group has coordinated with Surat Manav Sewa Sangh for Bhimtar housing location. Maheshwori Foundation incorporated with Chaudhary Group in local level.

Bhimtar is one of the mostly affected village by April 15 earthquake. According to foundation, single woman, disabled, poor, elderly people are given high priority while building the homes.

In the program, Mr. Binod Chaudhary shared that being able to build and handover homes to  earthquake victims have given him great satisfaction. He also mentioned that one thousand more homes are being handover to the victims in near future. He thanked Manav Sewa Sangh for coordinating in this project.

Earlier, Chaudhary Foundation had handover CG homes to earthquake victims in Dolalghat Kavre, Machhegaun Kathmandu, Changunarayan  Bhaktapur, Burungchuli Lalitpur and lokundole. In future, they are planning to handover the homes in Jalbire Sindhupalchowk, Ramechap, Dolkha, Gorkha, Dhading.
