91 Commercial farms in two months time period

Kanchanpur, September 23. 91 Business farms were registered during previous two months in Kanchanpur Jhalari Pipaladi municipality.

Business farms related to Straws brick industry, hotels, restaurants, hatch, fisheries, poultry farms, wheat flour mill, small industry, dealers shop, tailoring, buffalo farms, pigs farm, medical, nursery, computer learning centers, agricultural tools, metal workshop, fancy stores, electronic and furniture were registered.

After spreading awareness about the need of registration in municipalities in order to operate a business, increment in the number of registration of commercial farms is seen, said Chief Executive Officer Raghunath Awasthi. Registration procedure contributed over 330 thousands of revenue to the municipality. He continues that a door to door campaign is being carried out to access  those tax payers who have not registered their business in the municipality.  

Municipality formed as per the Local Self Governance Act 2055, Rules 2056,  Rule 118 "A" has a provision of collecting revenue from the commercial farms operating in the municipality area. RSS
