NEPSE closes at 1053.95 level, 3rd circuit break forced market to close within 1.5hr

Kathmandu, July-26 Nepse index which opened at 1003 level aggressively moved upward implying the market to close with maximum of 5% increase facing the circuit break three times. Benchmark index closed at 1053.95 level with in mid trading hour i.e Nepse today only traded for about 1.5hr.

The trading in Secondary market was halted for 15 minutes as the NEPSE index faced first circuit break with buying pressure. NEPSE surged 3.01% within the 1st hour of trading to reach 1033.60 level.

The trading in share market was then again halted for 30 minutes as the NEPSE index faced 2nd circuit break. NEPSE surged 4.04% within the 1st hour of trading to reach 1044.02 level to resume at 1:10 PM.

The trading in Secondary market had been closed for a day as the NEPSE index faced last circuit break at 1:14 PM with 5.04 increase in the index.

All the sub-indices landed in green today. Hydropower gained 106.98 points to close at 2313.66 level, Insurance gained 200.34 points to close at 4417.51 level and banking gained 60.67 points to close at 953.69 level.

CZBIL, NICA, JBBL, JBNL, EBLCP, SRBL, NCCB, PCBL, CBL and HBL are among the gainers with all of there share price increase by 10%.

SIGS1 is only the loser for the day.

Altogether 1,704,725 unit shares of 114 companies were traded through 802 transactions worth Rs 340,364,284.
