Nepse roars to 1000 level with the new monetary policy

Kathmandu, July-23 Announcement of monetary policy surged up the share market today with 40.11 points or 4.16% to close at 1003.38 level.
It seems as if the investors were waiting for the policy to be made public. As the announcement of the policy begin, the nepse index also aggressively increased after 2 pm today.
Similarly Sensitive and float also increased by 9.34 and 3.19 points respectively.
The entire sub Indices landed in green with maximum of Insurance (4217.17), banking (893.02) and development bank (863.72) with 71.12 points, 57.28 and 25.89 points respectively.
SCB, ACEDBL, TDBL, CNDBL and METRO are among the top gainers with 10% increase in share price whereas MMDBL is among the top loser with more than 7% decrease in share price.
Altogether 1,177,823 unit shares of 152 companies were traded through 3,487 transactions worth Rs 541,297,112.
The new policy about increment in capital of commercial bank and development bank to 8 arba and 2.56 arba has been declared in monetary policy to be implemented within 2 yrs.
