Post budget announcement surges up both Nepse and turnover

Kathmandu, July-15 The budget has a positive effect on the market, a significant increase has been seen in the transaction amount.
Although the budget didn’t have any significant address to the capital market, both the bench mark index and the turnover grew today.
NEPSE index surged up by 4.26 points or 0.45 percent to close at 950.72 level. Similarly Sensitive and Float index moved up by 0.89 and 0.29 points respectively. The turnover increased by 82.3 million today in comparison to yesterday.
All the sub-indices except others and trading landed in green with maximum indices increased by double digit.
Today as well trading of Prabhu bank’s Promoter shares was done amounting Rs 49.06 million.
Share Price of CBBL, PFL and KEBL went up by more than 9 percent today. RBBBL, JHBL, BFCL, are the top losers of the day.
Altogether 971,529 unit shares of 143 companies were traded worth Rs 342.78 million.
