Nepse up by 2.46: Turnover amounted Rs 259.50 million

Kathmandu, July-14 NEPSE index surged up by 2.46 points or 0.26 percent to close at 946.46 level. Similarly Sensitive and Float index moved up by 0.60 and 0.14 points respectively.

All the sub-indices except Insurance landed in green today resulting the bench mark index to surge up.

Banking, Development and Hotels plunged by 0.63 point, 0.7 point and 18.39 points respectively.

Hydropower (2141.05) and Manufacturing and Production (1658.48) increased by 25.56 and 49.23 points respectively.

However Insurance only the index to drop by 0.4 points.

Trading of Prabhu bank’s Promoter shares was done amounting Rs 72.98 million.

Share Price of NNLB and SETI went up by more than 9 percent today. CDBL, KADBL, UIC, are the top losers of the day.

Altogether 259,507,367 unit shares of 141 companies were traded worth Rs 259.50 million.
