SCBNL bags banking excellence award

Kathmandu, July-14 Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has bagged '2015 Euromoney Awards for Excellence' for Nepal given by the Euromoney — a leading global publication in financial markets. Issuing a statement last week, the bank said that the recognition for the bank is a result of its ability to deliver on its strategy compared to some of the other shortlisted Nepali banks.
Euromoney, which is recognized as a prime magazine of the wholesale financial world, is the predecessor to today's mainstream global capital markets. Earlier in the year, Standard Chartered Bank Nepal has won the 'The World's Best Emerging Markets Banks 2014' award for Nepal from the Global Finance magazine.
