NEPSE surges 5.44 points this week

Kathmandu, July-10 The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange gained overall 4.47 points or 0.48 percent to close at 943.43 level this week  compared to last week closing of 938.96.
 

NEPSE index fell few points on the first 2 trading days of this week but witnessed surge of 4.6 points, 1.8 point and 0.27 point on remaining 3 trading days of this week.

Among the sub-indices, Banking, Development and Manufacturing gained maximum of 5.44 points, 12.92 points and 15.9 points respectively.

HydroPower and Hotels recorded surge of 15.28 points and 2.02 points respectively.

Finance and Insurance dropped by 0.82 and 27.53 points respectively compare to last week.

This week altogether 36, 38,270 unit shares of 170 companies were traded through 7479 transactions worth Rs 1,283,629,000 which is 19.41 % less than previous week.

Nabil bank’s Promoter share, Everest bank, Prabhu bank, Chilime Hydropower and Machhapuchere Bank are the top five companies with respect to amounted tardaed.
