Nepse slipped by 1.26 points

Kathmandu, July-6 Nepse plunge by 1.26 points in the second trading day of the week to close at 936.76 level. Similarly sensitive and float also declined by 0.17 and 0.09 points respectively.

Among the sub- indices banking, development bank, finance, manufacturing and production and others landed in green. Banking gained 0.19, development bank gained 0.26, finance surge up by 0.17 likewise manufacturing and production gained 10.24 and others gained1.17 points.

Hotels dropped by 17.88 points to close at 1834.59 and Hydropower dropped by 11.91 points and Insurance dropped by 36.44 points to close at 4123.80.

Himalayan Distillery is the top gainer with 8.13% increase in share price; Everest Insurance is among the top losers with 9.81% decrease in share price.

Altogether 603,817 unit shares of 134 companies were traded through 1,454 transactions worth Rs 260.97 million.
