9th ECAN Int’l Education Fair starts in Bhrikutimandap
Kathmandu, July-3 The ninth International Education Fair, organized by the Educational Consultancy Association Nepal (ECAN), started yesterday at at the Exhibition Hall in Bhrikutimandap which was was inaugurated by Education Minister Chitra Lekha Yadav.
The exhibits will run for four-days. The Education Fair consists of product and services of the academic institutions through 200 stalls and five pavilions, aims to attract 150,000 visitors.
Countries like Australia, Bangladesh, China, India, Malaysia and New Zealand have set up information centres at the fair to help out the students planning to go abroad for higher education.
The fair aims to help students to find latest information about what is being provided across the world, so the students can compare the education and scope of the particular course to shape their career.
Around 15,000 students and parents visited the fair on the first day.
