Nepse down by 3.35 points with 17.92% decrease in turnover

Kathmandu, July-1 The bench mark index which rose till 13 minutes started its downward trend continuously to close at 945.78 level.  Today Nepse dropped by 3.35 points to close at 975.78. Similarly sensitive dropped by 0.90 to close at 201.17.

Altogether 427,141 unit shares of 130 companies were traded through 1,685 transactions worth Rs 280,456,363.

Hotel and Manufacturing & Production are the only sub indices to surge up by 0.84 and 14.97 respectively.

Hydropower dropped by 14.15 to close at 2,121.12 as well banking also dropped by 4.89 points.

Himalayan General Insurance gained more than 9% being the top gainer of the day whereas Siddhartha bank's promoter share is among the top loser by loss in more than 8%.
