NRB issuing Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2077

Kathmandu, June-16 Nepal Rastra Bank is issuing “Foreign Employment Saving Bond 2077” worth Rs 250 million from June 21st till July 4th; 2015.The bond is being issued for five-year maturity period which is targeted to Nepali citizens working abroad and non-resident Nepalese (NRNs) around the world.
The bond is being offered at nine percent coupon rate. The payout out of interest amount will be done in every six months.
Interested Nepalese citizen can apply for bonds worth minimum Rs 50,000 and maximum bonds with an amount not exceeding the size of total issue and divisible by 50,000 without remainder.
The bond can be kept as collateral for loans in banks and other financial institutions. The bond is being offered at nine percent coupon rate. The payout out of interest amount will be done in every six months.
The pay out of principal amount under the bond will start from 9th July, 2015.
