NEPSE steps up nearly by 30 points with increase in Turnover

Kathmandu, May- 31 After around 100 points of decline previous week, NEPSE rises 3 % or 29.98 points in the first trading day of the week to close at 871.94 points. Similarly Sensitive and Float gained 4.03 and 3.78 percent to close at 187.15 and 61.51 levels respectively.
Altogether 449,995 unit shares of 92 scrips were traded through 1,747 transactions worth Rs 200.68 million.
Among the sub-indices, Banking gained maximum of 39.69 points, Hydropower gained 119.15 points, Insurance gained 66.51 points, Manufacturing gained 18.56 points, Others gained 11.75 points .
On the contrary Development and Finance dropped by 2.14 points and 2.55 points to settle at 747.84 and 517.27 levels respectively.
CHCL, BOK, EBL, NCCB, PRVU and CBL were among the top traded shares. RMDC, ILFC, SWBBL, KAFIL and SETI were among the top losers of the day.
